# Website

> Instantly launch your site, even with your own domain, if you want.

Every Sherpo organization automatically receives a fully hosted site at `yoursite.sherpo.io`.

This site powers your **storefront**, **products**, **checkout**, and **marketing pages**: all hosted and secured by Sherpo.

## What you get with a sherpo.io site

* **Secure hosting** — HTTPS, CDN caching, and DDoS protection are built in. Every site runs on Sherpo’s infrastructure by default (for example, `demo.sherpo.io`).

## Hosting

Sherpo gives you a fully managed hosting and storage pipeline for videos, PDFs, slides, spreadsheets, and downloadable files. Once you upload assets in the dashboard, Sherpo handles **streaming, CDN delivery, and access control**: no YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Dropbox, or Drive links required.

## Admin mode

When you log in to your `.sherpo.io` site using the same email as your Sherpo dashboard account, you automatically enter **Admin mode**.

This automatically **unlocks any product you created**, and allows you to **preview unpublished drafts** and test product visibility before launch.

## Custom domain

Right now, migrating to or from a custom domain requires contacting [support@sherpo.io](mailto:support@sherpo.io). Include:

* Desired domain (e.g., `learn.yourbrand.com`)
* Confirmation that you control DNS (Sherpo provides CNAME/A records)
* Preferred cutover timeline for SSL and redirect setup

## FAQ

    Yes. By default, your site is available at `yoursite.sherpo.io`, but you can connect a custom domain (like `learn.yourbrand.com`). Right now, setup requires our support team: just email [**support@sherpo.io**](mailto:support@sherpo.io) (but it will become self-serve soon).

    Absolutely. All Sherpo sites (including custom domains) automatically use HTTPS with managed SSL certificates, no manual renewal required.

  <Accordion title="What’s Admin mode and how do I know it’s active?">
    Admin mode lets you preview drafts, test checkouts, and see unpublished content when logged in as the site owner. You’ll know it’s active when you see a **green bar** at the top labeled “Admin mode on.” You can turn it off anytime.

  <Accordion title="Can I disable search indexing while building my site?">
    Yes. In **Site → Settings**, toggle “Disable indexing” to block Google and other crawlers during development or testing.

    Yes. You can toggle the footer badge off in **Site settings**. This feature is available on paid plans for a full white-label experience.
