Site name and description

Update the name and tagline that appear in your storefront, browser tabs, and transactional emails.
  • Name: 3-30 characters
  • Description: up to 250 characters
These details are visible publicly on your live site.

Site domain

You can change your subdomain under Sherpo’s shared domain (*.sherpo.io). Subdomains must be:
  • at least six characters
  • lowercase, numbers, or hyphens only
  • not on the reserved list (www, api, store, and similar)
Migrating to or from a custom domain currently requires contacting support during beta.

Disable indexing

Enable Disable indexing to hide your site from Google, Bing, and other search engines while in development. This adds a noindex meta tag.
Keep indexing enabled when your site is ready for visitors. Turning it off will remove your pages from search results.

Branding and appearance

Appearance tab with icon, tint color, theme, and CSS options
Upload a square PNG or JPEG (minimum 180×180 px, max 5 MB). Sherpo uses this as your favicon and for share previews. Browsers cache icons aggressively, so updates may take a few minutes to propagate.

Tint color

Choose the main brand color used for buttons, links, and highlights. Optionally, enable Use a different tint color for dark mode to apply a separate accent in dark mode.

Theme availability

Control how your site appears:
  • Light and dark: visitors can toggle modes in the footer.
  • Light only or Dark only: enforce a single theme.

Hero dots animation

Toggle the animated dots in hero sections. Turning them off can slightly improve performance on low-end devices.
The dots add a lively touch to hero sections. We recommend keeping them on unless you need maximum performance.

Custom CSS

Paid plans can inject custom styles through Edit CSS. Rules are appended after default styles and may take a short time to update due to CDN caching.

Links tab with main website URL, social media links, and the Powered by Sherpo toggle

Main website URL

Add the external domain for your “Home” link in the site header. Use a full root domain (for example https://yourbrand.com). Do not paste your dashboard URL.

Social media URLs

Add your brand’s social accounts. Supported platforms include:
  • Instagram
  • X (formerly Twitter)
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube
  • GitHub
  • TikTok
  • Twitch
  • Threads
You can store up to five links. Click the trash icon beside any entry to remove it.

Powered by Sherpo badge

Toggle the Powered by Sherpo badge in your footer. Keeping it visible supports the platform and showcases the technology behind your site. You can disable it for full white labeling if you are on the Pro plan or higher.
The Sherpo badge signals trust and quality. Consider leaving it visible.
Changes are saved only after clicking Update. Need deeper customization to differentiate your site?
If you are on a paid plan, you can edit your CSS.
