Overview

Once a product exists, the Overview tab in your product workspace gives you key performance metrics at a glance: sales, revenues, reviews, and file usage. It also includes quick links to visit the live product or contact support.

The top summary cards show:
  • All transactions — Total number of completed purchases.
  • All reviews — Average rating and total number of reviews.
  • All files — Uploaded assets and total storage used.
Below, the Last 7 days chart visualizes unit sales, net revenues, and total revenues—all in your preferred currency. Use the Overview to monitor trends, track product health, and jump straight to detailed sections.

Basic info

The Basic info tab controls your product’s presentation and first impression. Here you can update text, images, and content shown on your public product page.

Here, by toggling “Use poster as a background image” you can also select whether your product should display the poster image as a background at the top of the product page, with a dynamic gradient overlay for better readability and visual appeal.

By enabling “Require dark mode”, you will also be able to force dark mode for this product page, regardless of the user’s theme preference.

Details

  • Title & subtitle — The product’s name and short tagline shown in listings, checkout, and receipts. (Minimum 3 characters; 50 max for title, 100 for subtitle.)
  • Poster — Upload a PNG or JPEG (max 5 MB, ideally 16:9) as your product’s thumbnail image. This is the image that will appear when you share a product link.

Do not confuse this with the Cover, which controls larger header visuals, images and videos, on the product page.

Description

Add a long-form introduction or sales pitch in the rich-text editor. Include headings, lists, images, links, or tables, and use Sherpo’s built-in AI tools (proofread, summarize, translate, elaborate) directly from the ✨ icon.

What you get

Describe what customers receive after purchase: downloads, lessons, calls, or access levels.

The What you get block appears in different areas depending on the product type (e.g., on the right-hand side of the product page or below the main description).

Settings

The Settings tab defines how your product behaves once published.

Product page

  • Hide reviews — Disable customer reviews (this cannot be done for Coffee and Goals products).
  • Sales counter — Show or hide the total number of transactions for this product, including those from discounts or freebies.

Danger zone

Use these controls carefully: they affect your product’s lifecycle.
  • Delete — Permanently removes the product, including its content, analytics, and transaction history.
    This operation cannot be undone.
  • Archive — Hides the product from your live store but retains all content, transactions, and analytics in your dashboard.

FAQ

Yes. You can edit titles, descriptions, prices, and settings at any time. Changes update instantly on your live site.
Absolutely. Click Visit live product from the Overview tab to see how your page looks to customers.
  • Delete — Permanently removes the product and all related data.
  • Archive — Hides it from your storefront while keeping analytics and past orders intact.
No. Once deleted, a product and its associated data are permanently removed. Consider archiving instead.
Yes. Click the ✨ icon inside any text editor to proofread, summarize, elaborate, or translate your copy directly within Sherpo.
You can rename products anytime under Basic info. Sorting and grouping are currently handled automatically by date and product type.
