Sherpo’s rich text editor powers product descriptions, course lessons, landing pages, FAQs, and more. It’s block-based, so you can mix paragraphs, embeds, and interactive elements without touching HTML.

Core formatting

  • Headings & paragraphs — Use the toolbar to style text as H1–H6, bold, italic, underline, code, and lists (ordered/unordered).
  • Quotes — Highlight key information using quote blocks.
  • Images & galleries — Upload images.

Tables & columns

You can organize structured data, pricing, or lesson outlines using tables.

  1. Click the table icon on the toolbar.
  2. Choose Insert table and set the number of columns and rows.
  3. Edit cells like regular text, add or remove rows, and toggle a header row.

You can also use multi-column layouts to combine text and visuals side by side: ideal for curriculums, comparisons, or feature lists.

FAQs (collapsible details)

You can insert collapsible Q&A blocks anywhere: inside a lesson, landing page, or product “What you get” product section, under “Basic info”.

  1. Place the cursor where you want the FAQ.
  2. Click the + icon in the toolbar.
  3. Select Details.
  4. Fill in the summary (the question) and the content (the hidden answer).

  • Horizontal rules — Separate sections clearly (just write --- to trigger it).
  • Code blocks — Share code snippets with syntax highlighting.
  • Task lists — Add checklists to lessons or instructions.
  • Caption - Add a caption to images, tables, and quotes.

Highlight any text, then click AI ✨ to:
  • Proofread — Fix grammar and clarity.
  • Summarize — Condense long paragraphs.
  • Elaborate — Expand short descriptions.
  • Translate — Convert content into another language.
AI changes stream directly in your editor, and you can accept or undo instantly.

  • Use headings and FAQs to make long content skimmable.

  • Preview often — the editor renders exactly as buyers will see it on your site.

FAQ

You can currently only upload images, but you will soon be able to embed videos by pasting the URL (e.g., YouTube videos). Sherpo automatically optimizes them for all devices.
No For clarity, keep one block per level. You can, however, combine tables or FAQs inside separate sections.
Each block supports up to 5,000 characters, shown at the bottom counter. For long posts, split content into multiple blocks.
Yes. Any Sherpo text field using the rich editor (product, lessons, or landing pages) supports AI proofreading and translation.
Sherpo saves changes as you type, and definitively saves them upon clicking ‘Update’. To roll back, use the undo shortcut (Cmd/Ctrl + Z), or refresh the page.
